A real institution in Modena. If you had to choose just one restaurant, Danilo's is the place to go. The traditional cuisine of Emilia-Romagna is prepared with great care and passion and has been for several generations. High quality charcuterie, home-made fresh pasta, local cheeses, good choice of wines and typical desserts. In secondo, trolley of bollito misto or roasted meats served the old-fashioned way. Very caring staff. Attention, reservations are strongly recommended for this very popular address.

Sono anni che vado da Danilo e non c'e' mai stata una volta che abbia mangiato meno bene del solito.
Ottimi primi piatti, bolliti con salse varie eccellenti, dolci buonissimi.

Demorou demais chegarem nossos pedidos. Eram apenas massas e a demora fez com que perdêssemos toda a graça do almoço

Cuisine italienne, bon accueil mais attention… pensez à réserver ! L’ambiance est plutôt familiale et le personnel très agréable. La cuisine est faite maison et c’est un régal

Filet con Aceto Balsamico ist wirklich sehr gut, das Fleisch war zart und wie gewünscht perfekt medium gebraten. Die Balsamico-Sauce ist wirklich ein Gedicht, einzig die Pürree-Beilage war etwas klein.
Nudeln mit Wildschweinragout waren auch exzellent, gut gewürzt und ziemlich sicher hausgemacht.
Das Tiramisu zum Abschluss ließ dann etwas nach, hier hatten wir uns etwas mehr "Boden' gewünscht, aber dafür ist Geschmackssache.
Preise außerordentlich fair, Bedienung schnell und spricht gutes Englisch - Gerne wieder!
