Museum offering a visit tracing the production process of traditional balsamic vinegar.
Four short films are shown during the visit, two of which are in French. A fascinating guided tour of the slow and patient process of producing traditional balsamic. The tasting of 12 and 25 year old vinegars allows to appreciate the unique aromas. You can see batteries of barrels and some relics, such as a bottle found in Carpi and dated 1785: the vinegar, tested by a master taster, would still be suitable for consumption!

One of the most informative museums we have ever had the pleasure of stopping at. We did this on a whim and I'm truly glad we did. My wife and I had no idea of the process or the value this vinegar holds for the local population. Excellent and informative staff!

A chiunque abbia voglia di avvicinarsi e capire quanta antica tradizione ritengo sia una visita da non mancare se si è di passaggio a Spilamberto.

Abbiamo visitato questo museo il 1 novembre ed è stata un'esperienza davvero particolare perché grazie alla guida abbiamo ripercorso tutto il procedimento per ottenere l'aceto tradizionale di Modena. Inoltre la visita guidata vi da la possibilità di fare una degustazione di due balsamici invecchiati 12 e 25 anni.
