Imposing building with magnificent Renaissance frescoes
This imposing building preserves magnificent Renaissance frescoes. It houses three museums. The Museo del Palazzo presents the artistic collections of the city (paintings, ceramics...). The Museo della Città (of the town) preserves pieces related to the history of Carpi: books, documentation concerning the agricultural and textile activity in Carpi. In the Museo del Deportato (Deportation Museum), you can see objects that belonged to the prisoners in the concentration camps. On the walls there are extracts from letters of resistance fighters condemned to death.
