Address with comfortable rooms offering many hiking trails

Since the 1960s, the Giovo refuge has been welcoming nature lovers on the shores of Lago Santo modenese, a mountain lake. In summer, there are many excursions along the hiking trails. In winter, after a snowshoe hike, you can warm up by the fire with a traditional dish followed by a grappa. Comfortable rooms with panelled walls, most of them with private bathrooms, which can accommodate two to four people. After All Saints' Day, it is best to call to make sure the shelter is open.

La mia storia personale è legata a questo posto in un modo unico e straordinario. Ci siamo capitati per caso o portati da qualcosa di più grande 17 anni fa. Io e mio marito primo anniversario di matrimonio. Mi era stata diagnosticata una malattia che difficilmente ci avrebbe reso genitori, il mio cuore era a pezzi e i miei occhi erano spenti. Se ne accorse anche il proprietario del Rifugio Giovo che mi incoraggio senza sapere ad avere fede e non smettere mai di pregare. Ieri dopo 17 anni io e mio marito ci siamo ritornati con i nostri figli Ciro 16 anni e Marcella 14 anni. Ho ringraziato Roberto e la sua dolcissima moglie per avermi aiutato anche senza saperlo.
