The room is tiny and neon lit, the walls and countertop are veneered with ugly green gyproc, the only decorative element is the sticky clock hanging above the wood oven. However, this pizzeria is dear to the hearts of Reggio's inhabitants who flock to it at lunchtime and in the evening. They buy small round pizzas, with or without anchovies. It's disconcertingly simple and it's just good, ideal for a quick lunch or an afternoon snack break while mingling with the locals.

Locale storico in pieno centro a Reggio Emilia, si possono gustare delle pizzette come antipasto oppure cena (se mangiate molto poco); è un grande classico, c'è sempre abbastanza fila ma il servizio è veloce. Consigliato per una pizza "diversa" dal solito.

Voto 10. La Piola è storica, il top, non puoi andare a fare un giro in centro a Reggio senza che ti fermi a prendere una pizza li,tappa obbligatoria. Ci vado da più di 20 anni. Lo dico anche in una mia canzone "i miei anni '90". Dovete andarci????.
