It is a safe bet in Ancona. The large room of the Giardino is always full in the evening and for good reason, its refined and accessible cuisine is unanimously appreciated by the locals. There is a wide choice of primi (spaghetti with clams, fish risotto...) and secondi (lobster, grilled tuna fillet with valerian sauce and Genoese pesto, grilled prawns with white bacon from Colonnata, fillet of sea bream with prawns and courgettes...), not to mention the good wood-fired pizzas. Bien mais un peu guindé
Ce restaurant à l'ambiance assez chic propose un large choix d'entrées, de plats, de desserts et de boissons, il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts et pour tous les appétits. Le personnel est accueillant, le service est rapide et les assiettes sont copieuses. Les différents plats (primi et secondi) commandés étaient tous très bons. En revanche, victime de son succès, le Giardino affiche souvent complet (mieux vaut réservé) et l'immense salle devient donc très vite assez bruyante. Les prix sont par ailleurs assez élevés.

Abbiamo mangiato tra colleghi venerdì sera in questo ristorante nel centro di Ancona. Pessimo l'inizio con un cameriere che non sapeva neanche consigliarci cosa prendere come primo piatto. Poi devo dire che le chitarrine bicolore erano senza sale, davvero un errore imperdonabile per un ristorante del genere. Meglio gnocchi e fritto e arrosto. Poi ci sono cose da migliorare come l'assenza di stuzzicadenti, olio, sale e salviettine al limone che vanno messe appena si sa che una comitiva ordina pesce....un cameriere deve osservare bene i tavoli ed essere pronto a risolvere questi problemi. Per finire prezzo di 45 euro a testa, nella media diciamo...
