ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM OF THE STEPS
Museum preserving archaeological pieces from the Palaeolithic to the Roman period.
The 16th-century Feretti Palace houses archaeological finds from the Palaeolithic to the Roman period, including an exceptional collection of Roman bronzes from Cartoceto di Pergola , as well as Etruscan and Greek civilizations. During the Second World War, the collection was damaged during the bombing. A collection called "recovery of the rubble" displays the recovered pieces. Just next door, Roman ruins are waiting to be seen.
