Palace which is the largest monument in the city offering guided tours to the public.
The largest monument in the city is located in the central Piazza del Popolo. Built for Alessandro Sforza in the second half of the 15th century, it was restored in the following century by the Della Rovere family, the ruling family of the time, after a fire. Today it houses the prefecture. The palace is now part of the Pesaro Musei circuit. It has been open to the public since June 2021 and you can book your place for guided tours on Saturdays at 10 am (duration 1h30) or on Tuesdays and Thursdays afternoons (limited places).
