RAFFAELLO HOUSE
House housing many works of art and some objects related to Raphael.
This 15th century building houses the room where the great Renaissance painter was born on 28 March 1483. The house where he grew up has been enriched over the years with numerous works of art: inside there are paintings, sculptures, ceramics, wooden furniture... Some of these objects are closely linked to Raphael (copies of his paintings...). Upstairs, a fresco of a Virgin and Child could be one of his first works. The other works belong to Raffaello's father, Giovanni Santi (1435-1494).
