FORTRESS OF ALBORNOZ
Go there and contact
Imposing fortress pleasantly shaded with a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside.
Following the pleasantly shaded Buozzi Avenue, you reach the imposing fortress built in the 14th century, which repelled several assaults throughout its history. The construction, with a rectangular plan, keeps two semicircular towers inside. A ramp gives access to the covered walkways from which one can enjoy a beautiful view of the surrounding countryside. This fortress owes its name to Cardinal Albornoz, to whom traditionally its construction is attributed, although some studies believe it is due to his successor, Cardinal Grimoard.
