CAFFÈ MELETTI
Inaugurated in 1907 by the industrialist Silvio Meletti, who produced alcohols and in particular his famous anisette (to be tasted on the spot!), the building occupied by this historical café was built in 1884 to accommodate the Post & Telecommunications of the time. Located in the Piazza del Popolo, it was the setting for several films such as I Delfini in 1960 by Francesco Maselli or Alfredo Alfredo by Pietro Germi in 1971. Its sunny terrace, which allows you to appreciate the charm of the square, is an essential stop on any visit to Ascoli
