This charming hotel-restaurant (Калин Хотел) has lovely rooms overlooking Mount Bistra, with WiFi, good bedding and bathroom facilities, but no air conditioning. The restaurant serves tasty local cuisine (simmered dishes, grilled meats, game...) and vegetarian recipes. The hosts are friendly and speak good English. Mountain bikes are available for hire, and horseback excursions can be booked in advance. Also in Lazaropole, you can find low-cost accommodation with local people or at the T'ga za Jug restaurant (+389 70 26 96 67), which is also very pleasant.
