This thermal area (Бања Кежовица/Banja Kežovica) is formed around a hot spring emerging from a seismic fault at 74 °C. Very slightly radioactive, this water rich in sodium chloride, sodium sulfate and sodium oxide is used for therapeutic purposes, including rheumatism, diabetes and hypertension. There is a health and wellness center created in 1948 and today, unfortunately, not very well maintained. It is located on the site of an old Ottoman bath built in the 16th century.
