The restaurant, which boasts a large terrace adjoining the eponymous hotel, offers a sublime view of the lake and the Alps on the horizon. The site (12 km from Montreux) can therefore provide a base for your explorations in the region for a relatively moderate price for Switzerland, always varying according to the period. The terrace, however, is next to the road and can be noisy. The menu also varies according to seasonal produce. In winter, you'll enjoy classic dishes such as lobster, seafood sauerkraut and salmon.

Superbe terrasse à l'Auberge de Rivaz. Absolument agréable. Bon endroit pour bien manger.
