Remarkable fountain occupying the centre of the Place du Tribunal
As you walk through the streets of the city, you will come across some rather unexpected beauties, such as this remarkable fountain that occupies the centre of the Place du Tribunal. And yet, we are not in Aix-en-Provence, but in a small town in the Pays d’Auge! Under its large basin, on the base, it is possible to read inscriptions in metal letters that inform us about its origins: it is an offering by Léonce de Brossard to his native town, and inaugurated in 1855.
