Originally from Iran, Hajj Ali Maktabi was raised there until he was eleven years old. After his father's death, his family travelled all over the Middle East to sell their carpets, particularly in Aleppo, Damascus and Homs. Eventually the family moved to Beirut and expanded their carpet manufacturing and trading activities. His six sons have since taken over the business, whose quality products have long made its reputation. The shop also offers carpet installation and cleaning services. Worldwide delivery is possible.
