Beirut is the only airport in Lebanon. There are two other airports out of operation in Kolayaat (North Lebanon) and Rayak (Bekaa). The current airport was inaugurated in April 1954. Completely rebuilt after the war, the current airport is spacious and modern. Today, the administrative formalities are very simple and the procedure is fast. Important, visa applications are accepted provided that your passport does not bear any stamps of the State of Israel.

The airport of Beirut has suffered greatly from the bombings of 1982 and the years that followed, it was given to new and does not envy the luxurious airports that you can see in some countries. A place where you feel safe now.
