THE DUKE OF WELLINGTON
International cuisine revisited in English in a Beirut restaurant with jazz concerts.
This is the restaurant of the mythical Mayflower Hotel and one of the oldest pubs in Beirut. Today, the Duke of Wellington is a great place to dine or have a drink in the evening. As you cross the threshold, you find yourself immersed in the 1970s in a delightfully British setting: large leather armchairs, period furniture and decoration, jazzy atmosphere... you feel very comfortable, and the staff is very attentive. The menu is varied, with international classics revisited in the English style, soups, salads, sandwiches and excellent desserts. Note: the pub has its own beer, which is excellent, and the house also hosts jazz concerts on Thursday and Sunday evenings. Atmosphere guaranteed.
