MAYRIG
Armenian restaurant with terrace in Beirut offering filled ravioli.
One of the best Armenian restaurants in Beirut. Open since July 2003, Mayrig ("mom" in Armenian) offers traditional cuisine in the refined setting of an old Lebanese house. You must be tempted by the haigagan and vospi salads, the hot dishes sou beureg, havgitov basterma, soujouk hats and fishna kebab (grilled meat with morello cherries). But the great speciality remains the mantis, meat-filled ravioli, topped with yoghurt and spices: a delight! Mayrig offers a beautiful journey to a cuisine full of richness.
