BOUBOUFFE
Snack-restaurant offering chawarma cooked over a wood fire and Lebanese specialties in Beirut.
It is one of the references in the Beirut restoration landscape. This Lebanese snack restaurant has a false air of a Parisian brasserie. Opened in 1976 in the Mar Mitr area, Boubouffe offers one of the best chawarma in the city. Its secret is that the meat is cooked over a wood fire. The menu offers a variety of Lebanese specialties, with a different dish of the day every day of the week: koussa au laban, kebbé bel sanyé, lamb and chicken moughrabié, etc. The portions are not oversized, but it's good and fine.
