PLACE DE L'ÉTOILE

This centrally located café-restaurant is one of the few establishments still open around the Place de l'Etoile (although still closed since the events of October 2019). It offers traditional Lebanese cuisine that is correct but not exceptional. Its terrace allows a pleasant break when visiting the city center, especially at the end of the afternoon. It is the meeting place for families who come to play with their children on the square: it is one of the few places in Beirut reserved for pedestrians!
