ASHGHÂLOUNA
Beirut restaurant-buffet with garden and sale of needlework or basketry.
Installed in the former annex of the British Embassy (now Dar al-Aytam), the Ashghâlouna association, which cares for Muslim widows, organizes every Friday from 1:30 pm to 4 pm a very friendly buffet. It is thus possible to discover traditional Lebanese cuisine while supporting a good cause. From spring to autumn, the meal takes place in the garden. It is preferable to make a reservation. Ashghalouna also sells articles made by the women of the association (pastries, needlework, wood and basketry).
