BLISS HOUSE
Competitively priced sandwiches, burgers or ice cream at a restaurant in Beirut.
The Bliss House saga, which has a dozen outlets in Lebanon and the Middle East, began in 1979, on Bliss Street, of course! Bliss House originally sold only juice and ice cream. Then in 1985, the menu was expanded to include good sandwiches and a wide selection of burgers (although clearly not the best in the neighborhood) that are prepared in front of the customer. Prices are very competitive. A good place to eat fast and cheap, and is therefore very popular with American university students.
