FERN GHATTAS
Excellent fatayer and manakish served by a snack bar in Beirut.
Fern Ghattas is a tiny snack bar (no table) at the end of Gouraud Street in front of the Greek Catholic Church of St. Anthony. An atypical address among the trendy restaurants of the neighbourhood! For more than sixty years, Fern Ghattas has been the king of fatayer (spinach slipper) in Beirut. Some customers don't hesitate to travel several kilometers to come and taste them. The snack bar also serves excellent manakish, as well as salads, pizzas ... An address not to be missed if you are in the neighborhood for lunch.
