Chateau Qanafar is a family winery located in the West Bekaa, at the foot of Mount Barouk. The adventure began in 2004 when George Naïm planted a small vineyard of barely 1 hectare above the village of Khirbet Qanafar. Today, the estate covers 17 hectares, and their wine, which has received several international awards, is considered one of the best in the country. The site is magnificent, with one of the most beautiful views of the Bekaa. Tasting tours are organized by appointment (during our visit in October 2019, a restaurant was under construction). The shop is located not far from the Royal Tulip Ashrafieh, in the Sioufi district.
