SOUK EL-TAYEB
In the city center, at the bottom of the Beirut Souks, is held every Saturday morning an organic market, called Souk el-Tayeb, which brings together dozens of local producers. An excellent address to discover Lebanese products coming from the four corners of the country. This initiative, launched in 2006 by Kamal Mouzawak, is a welcome initiative that encourages local productivity (and particularly Bekaa farms), organic and quality agriculture and fair trade. The clientele is family-oriented, rather well-off and a little bit boozy. Friendly atmosphere.
