3EZZ CAFE
It's not just a coffee, but a coffee shop. But it is undoubtedly the smallest sign in downtown and even Beirut: 1,8 m ² surface. It deserves a detour. Opened since June 2001, 3 Ezz Café has found its clientele with local employees and even senior officials of the ESCWA, a United Nations institution located next door. Coffee is good and costs only 750 LL, hot chocolate is 1 500 LL. And the employee is nice. 3 Ezz Café remained open during the summer 2006 war and the opposition sit-in. Surrounded by security measures, it was necessary to bypass the tents and show white paw at the security station to go there. A real adventure! Since February 2012, 3 ezz have opened a restaurant right next door. The enseigne offers saj, sandwiches and salads to eat or to eat on site. It is not expensive and it is acceptable!
