After the museum and the palaces of the Sursock family, you have to go to the former bank of another large Lebanese family, the Audi. This magnificent residence from 1910 houses one of the most beautiful collections of private mosaics in the world. The vast majority date back to Roman times, between the 2nd and 4th centuries AD. Some Byzantine frescoes are also on display. If admission is free, it is better to make an appointment beforehand to ensure that the museum is open.
