Opened in 2013 on the grounds of the USJ, the MIM houses one of the world's finest and richest collections of mineralogy, with 1,600 minerals on display, patiently collected since 1997 by Salim Eddé, a chemical engineer by training. Geodes, XXL quartz, gold nuggets, beryls shards... more than 300 minerals from 61 different countries are presented in this must-see museum in Beirut. The visit, very intuitive and didactic, will seduce both adults and children.
