SAMIR KASSIR GARDEN
The garden is named after Samir Kassir, a journalist who was murdered on 2 June 2005 and author of La Guerre du Liban, published by Actes Sud. A left-wing activist, he was an ardent defender of the Palestinian cause and of democracy in Lebanon and Syria. This space was designed by the architect Vladimir Djurovic. This 815 m² project won the Agha Khan Award for Excellence in Architecture in 2007. A statue of Samir Kassir is located on the site. Unknown, this garden is composed of a pond at the edge of which it is pleasant to stop in the shade of the trees.
