MAISON TARAZI
In 1862, Dimitri Tarazi founded his first gallery and workshop for the manufacture of silk embroidery, carpets, antique copperware and artistic furniture in the traditional oriental style in Beirut, then in Damascus. Later, with the opening of branches in Jerusalem, Cairo and Alexandria, Dimitri Tarazi & Fils becomes the supplier of His Imperial Majesty the Ottoman Sultan as well as of several European royal courts. For generations, the House of Tarazi has been creating and producing oriental-style furniture in various materials, as well as decorative objects and lighting fixtures. Even today, it can still conceive the designs that best suit your interior, and this, in different styles (Syrian, Moroccan, Egyptian...). Painted wood, carved wood, icons, mother-of-pearl inlays, lights, carpets, antiques, copper, glassware, painted ceramics, ancient weapons, wood and marble inlays, wall ornaments, oriental style furniture, it is a breathtaking know-how. A showroom is located on Pharaoh Street (Mar Mikhael) in Beirut.
