Museum of Underwater Wrecks and the history of the D-Day landings near Port-en-Bessin, worth a visit.

Near Port-en-Bessin, here’s a place for scuba diving and D-Day history enthusiasts. Personal objects and relics from large warships sunk on or after 6th June 1944, and recovered over 25 years of exploration of the Normandy seabed, are brought back to life. Their history is reconstructed and explained, enabling visitors to get up close and personal with the men and women who came into contact with these objects and experienced the conflict from the inside.

Musée atypique, expérience inédite. C'est passionnant, il faut absolument commencer par le film (52 min) pour s'imprégner de l'atmosphère et s'immerger dans l'environnement des épaves sous-marines. Merci au concepteur-visionnaire-plongeur qui a eu l'idée de conserver ces témoignages de notre histoire.
