Located on the coast just before Jounieh, this hotel, opened in 1995, has 180 rooms including 59 suites (some of which have been recently renovated). The rooms, some of which have a balcony with a view of the sea, are spacious and clean, decorated in the traditional style. Portemilio is not a very new establishment - it opened in 1995 - but it is well maintained and has two outdoor swimming pools, including an Olympic one, a spa, a restaurant (international cuisine), a children's playground, a lounge bar open from 4pm to 2am, a gym, tennis courts and a hairdresser's area.
