ADONIS ROCK
The first curiosity is the rock of Adonis. At the entrance to the village, take left by following the signs. A large rock comes out of the landscape and has a bas-relief interpreted by Renan as the legendary Combat struggle with a wild boar. This is a bear in a hunting scene illustrating an episode of the life of the character who was buried in the basement at the foot of the rock. On the right, another low relief, very degraded, represents a character armed with a lance and followed by two dogs, these details are almost illegible today. The site visit takes 10 minutes. If you want to stay longer, you can continue your path through a small trail above the rock of Adonis to reach the ruins of a stone house occupied today by a flock of goats.
