MAR NOHRA CHURCH
In the centre of the village, the Mar Nohra church, where the saint of the same name was buried, attracts many visitors to plead for the healing of their eyes. Saint Nohra - in Syriac, Nohra means light - of Persian origin, came to Phoenicia towards the end of the th century to preach Christianity. He would have been martyred.
