Opposite the khan al-Khayatin, the 14th century khan al-Misriyin (Egyptians), an old warehouse, is still in a rather poor state. However, it deserves a quick visit. A small soap workshop run by the Al Sharkas family since 1803 is located on the first floor. Mahmoud Al Sharkas spends hours modelling his scented soaps. He will be happy to present his products to you. His workshop is open every day from 10am to 7pm.
