Built and built in 1975 thanks to the initiative of the Gibran National Committee in the former Mar Sarkis monastery of the th century, the museum presents a collection of paintings and drawings. Modernised and enlarged in 1995, he traces through 16 pieces the life of the artist. His tomb was erected in the monastery's small chapel, that is where the poet wanted to be buried. This former monastery was the playground of his childhood. His sister Miriana bought it after his death in 1931 to fulfil his wish.
