FESTIVAL DE BEITEDDINE
The Beiteddine festival is one of the three largest festivals in Lebanon, along with Baalbek and Byblos. Created in 1985, the festival was created in the midst of a civil war under the leadership of Walid Joumblatt. For two months, the festival offers concerts, theatre performances and conferences, before interrupting its activities due to the war. Since 1993, after seven years of interruption, it has welcomed every year in July and August the most beautiful voices from the region, Lebanon and even the world in the repertoires of variety, opera and jazz. Phil Collins, Elton John, Ricky Martin, Ziad Rahbani and Charles Aznavour performed on the festival stage, which takes place in the majestic setting of the Beiteddine Palace. The Beiteddine Festival also offers dance and theatre performances. In 2019, the festival welcomed, among others, Gérard Depardieu, singing Barbara's great classics and the Iraqi singer Kadim al Sahir.

Un décor superbe, surtout de nuit grâce à l'éclairage très bien travaillé, des artistes réputés, un public enthousiaste, et accessoirement un petit marché de nuit à l'entrée / la sortie.
Superbe !
