THE TEMPLE OF HEBBARIEH
Between Marjeyoun and Ebdl es Sifni, take the direction of Hebbarieh by passing through Fardis. At the exit of Hebbarieh, the main road and the heart of the village, you can see the ruins of a Roman temple. Some walls are still débout and can be 8 m high. The entrance door contains niches at two levels, semi circular down and rectangular at the top. You can read a few lines in Greek on the facade. The temple is built on a podium that included underground galleries. In the pronaos, the bases of two columns are still visible. The pediment disappeared.
