TYR PUBLIC BEACH
South of Tyr, a sandy beach stretches over several kilometers. To access it, take the road leading to Rest House and continue on the right. You will see many strawberries along the beach, which are open only the summer. The more south of this stretch of sand, the more quiet you will be. Here, the weekend, everyone is coming swimming. The beach is generally clean and water is turquoise. No problem for women to get into bikini!
Further south, there is a protected nature reserve since 1998 where sea turtles hide their eggs. The site also has a rich fauna such as mice, bats and badgers. The first homes in Rachidyeh's Palestinian camp are also seen. The protected area is on both sides of this camp.
