Just a stone's throw from Piazza Vittorio Veneto and its bustling life, the Hotel Alpi Resort is the ideal place to put down your bags and then set off to explore the city. The 29 rooms are simple and comfortable, with all mod cons and en-suite bathrooms, and some have a view of the River Po, as the hotel is located on the third floor (to get there, you have to take an antique 1930s elevator, wonderfully preserved in its original state!) Private covered parking, very good breakfast and very pleasant staff.
