CAFFÈ TORINO
Ideally situated under the arcades of the majestic Piazza San Carlo, Caffè Torino has preserved its sumptuous decor since 1903.
This coffee was once prized by the court of Savoy and by the Turin intelligentsia. Elegant, Art Nouveau architecture is expressed in volutes and arabesques on the counter, on the floor lamps and on the astonishing banister. Very appreciable, its terrace overlooks one of the most beautiful squares in Turin, Piazza San Carlo. Under the arcades, facing the entrance, notice the strange mosaic in the shape of a bull. It is said that trampling his "lower parts" would bring good luck... You will notice that they are quite damaged!
