Don Bosco, born in Asti in 1815 and died in Turin in 1888, dedicated his life to the education of underprivileged children, convinced that education would help fight poverty. Coming from a very poor background, this priest founded the Society of Saint Francis de Sales in 1859 and was canonized after his death. There are ten routes around Turin, with a total of 140 km of trails, in the footsteps of the holy man. For some hikers, the experience will be spiritual, for others it will be a pretext for beautiful nature walks..
