The second oldest rowing club in Italy (founded in 1863, two years after the veteran Canottieri Limite sull'Arno, near Florence), it was instrumental in the creation of the Italian Rowing Federation and epitomizes Turin's passion for the sport, which is widely practised on what they simply call "Il Fiume" (the river), which of course means the Po. And it's on its banks that it's based, right in the heart of the Parco del Valentino...
