CHIESA SAN FILIPPO NERI
Very imposing church of late baroque style with many paintings.
This very imposing late Baroque church (the largest in Turin, with a capacity of more than a thousand people), designed by Guarino Guarini and Filippo Juvarra, was built between 1675 and 1772 on the land donated by Charles-Emmanuel of Savoy to the congregation of the Oratory Fathers, who are still in charge of it today. Completed in 1832, it has a single nave interior rich in works of art, including the baroque marble high altar dating from 1703 and numerous paintings, forming a veritable art gallery.
