Architect Pietro Fenoglio is the master of the Liberty style (the name of Art Nouveau in Italy) in Turin. He was responsible for a large number of buildings in the early 20thcentury , and his masterpiece is undoubtedly the Fenoglio-Lafleur house. He designed it in 1902 for his own use, but sold it two years later to the French contractor Lafleur. The building is a remarkable example of the entire Art Nouveau repertoire: plant forms, ironwork, stained glass, petal-shaped crowning of the corner tower in iron and yellow glass...
