This imposing building, which houses the National Cinema Museum, is the symbol of Turin. It was commissioned to Alessandro Antonelli by the Jewish community who wanted to build a grandiose temple. The initial project envisaged a height of 47 m, but the daring architect proposed 167 m. Having become too expensive, the project was taken over by the town hall. The Mole, finished in 1889, measures 167 m and its tip bears a statue, known as The Winged Genie, 4 m high. You reach the top by a crystal elevator from where you have an impressive view of the city.

Vue splendide !
Musée du cinéma ravissant et riche !
La vue au sommet ensuite est exceptionnelle, offrant à la fois une vue de la ville et ses monuments ainsi que sur la barrière des Alpes avec une superbe vue sur le Val de Suse.
Enfin, le monument est magnifique.
Attention, il y a pas mal de queue en été !
