The A come Ambiente museum (l'ambiente: the environment) opened in 2004 on the site of the former Michelin factory, where electrical energy was first harnessed to power the company's factories at the end of the 19th century. The museum space is organized around four exhibition sections subdivided into themes: energy, transport, waste and water. It is the first museum in Europe to be devoted entirely to environmental education. The exhibition is organized in an interactive, multimedia way for visitors of all ages.
