PINACOTECA AGNELLI
Gallery with panoramic elevators presenting 25 works of art
This pinacoteca, Mr Agnelli's last gift to Turin, is called the "jewellery box". The box is the structure made by Renzo Piano, practically suspended on the roof of the Lingotto; the jewels are the 25 works of art: two statues by Canova, six paintings by Canaletto, seven by Matisse, La Baigneuse blonde by Renoir, La Négresse by Manet and L'Alabardiere in un paesaggio by Tiepolo... Use the panoramic lifts on the south side or, if you're going by car, you can go up to the old Fiat factory test track.
