MEDIEVAL BORGO
A perfectly preserved open-air museum featuring a medieval garden with flowers and medicinal plants.
In the Valentino park, you can admire the reconstruction of a 15th-century Piedmontese village, a sort of open-air museum. Built for the 1884 International Exhibition, it is perched on a pretty rockery reproducing those found in the Alps. In the village, you can visit the fortress, medieval Piedmontese and Valle d'Aostan houses and workshops, and the medieval garden added to the complex in 1998, featuring flowers, medicinal plants and a vegetable garden. The Borgo Medievale is closed for renovation until 2026.
